Question I need help setting up my vms, hypervisor is KVM. I'm new to netowrking please help. Please Help. I need all the smart guys here!!!

Hi, I would like to setup a web server, database server and app server, one of each on three vms. I want the three vms to have it's web traffic managed by a forth vm that will act as a firewall. Each of the vms will have a seperate virtual network, except for the firewall vm. the firewall vm is goignt o be connected to all three netwroks to manage the web traffic. The OS I'm using for all vms is Ubuntu 16.04.1 server LTS. Also, I need a solution to a problem, when I install ubuntu server on a vm, it tries to force me to configure my networks with DHCP, but I set up my virtual networks without DHCP. Can someone please help me get around this? Also, I'm going to need a DMZ for my vms. My hypervisor is KVM.

Host Machine: Generation II Dell Poweredge 1950

I'm actually remoting into my poweredge from home using virt-manager.

I recommend that the OP consider opting to use Ubuntu 20.04 Jammy Jellyfish as it is the latest LTS release of the OP will have the security and stability updates. As for the virtual environment (lab).

Would the OP explain to the LQ community what the point of this operation is exactly as that would help us advise him/her of where to go from here.
