how to restrict a user to a single domain in sendmail with multiple domains


Hi
I am running sendmail with two domains and using dovecot as pop3

for eg: domain1.com domain2.com

therefore when i create a new user for eg:- abc

he can configure either domain1.com or domain2.com as he wish

but i want to restrict the user 'abc' only to use one domain

how do i do this

please help

You can do this with the /etc/mail/virtusertable(.db) and /etc/mail/generics-domains(.db) files.

Hi Thanks for your reply

when i send an e-mail to user@domain2.com the user@domain1.com receives it
i have done all the settings mentioned in the article but the same problem persists

Pls help
