how to open corrupt vdi files


hi every one i have virtualservers on virtual harddisk due to system crash when im trying to access the servers its giving the error as

failed to start virtual machine fileserver medium /rootfiles/vdi/fileserver.vdi is not accessible
vd:error verr_media_not_recognized opning image file
/rootfiles/vdi/fileserver.vdi (verr-media-not-recognized)
result code:ns-error-failure
our company network gone down.no internet is coming.so if i want to install dhcp i need dhcp rpm package for fedora12 2.36.31.9-174fc12x86_64.please helpme its really urgent.i thnk .vdi is corrupted so know wht should i do please telme any
help appreicated....

You could try to set the crashed VID read-only and then boot the guest from a Live CD in the hope you can 'dd|netcat' data out over the network or attached storage or try to convert the remains with 'VBoxManage clonehd crashed.vdi [filename.extension] -format [someformat]' or 'qemu-img.exe convert -O [someformat] crashed.vdi [filename.extension]' and operate on that?

Have you Got Corrupt VDI file and able access it?
No worries, you can easily open and recover VDI files which have been corrupted by some reasons or faults. There multiple software available that help gets access to the corrupt VDI file by repairing the files. SysInfoTools VDI Recoveryis a safe and secure way to fix VDI. Really easy to handle and you can store the recovered VDI file at your given location, it does not get lost. There are Three recovery modes to Recover the data, you can choose the mode of recovery as per the level of recovery needed for corrupt VDI files.
