Not giving enough information. Saying "suse linux mail system" tells us very little. Are you using openSUSE? SuSE enterprise? What version? What "mail system" (sendmail? Postfix? Dovecot?), over what protocol (IMAP? POP3?)
And really, if you're migrating TO Exchange, you should look on a Microsoft forum, or ask your Exchange support vendor for migration tips. Migrating things to Exchange is something they'll handle.
