how to change debian gnu grub 1.97 password root? please help me ,


how to change debian gnu grub 1.97 password root? please help me ,

i dont have much time


when i restart my server i see
--------------------------------------------------------

gnu grub version 1.97

debian gnu/linux, with linux 2.6.30-2-686-bigmem
debian gnu/linux, with linux 2.6.30-2-686-bigmem ( recovery mode )
debian gnu/linux, with linux 2.6.32.5
debian gnu/linux, with linux 2.6.32.5 ( recovery mode )


use the ... and enter to boot and "e" to edit .....

when i wana edit first or two and etc line i see this message

minimum emacs-like screen editing is supported. tab lists completions.
press ctrl+x to boot , ctrl+c for a command -line or esc to return menu
