Smile How disable x-server (graphics) on my linux debian server?


Hi!

How can i disable (deaktivate) the x-server (graphics)?
I well boot in non-graphical mode permanently!!

Hey,

Edit your inittab --> /etc/inittab
Change the following line to
Code:
 #The default runlevel is defined here
        id :3:initdefault:
Your id is most probaly 5, change it to 3.
