How check does dns reverse lookup works ?

Hi, as thread name says, how do that which linux tool. I make ( or I am hopping I did ) reverse zone for dns, but how check does it works.

host or nslookup or dig or ...

Suppose your domain name is solaris.com with ip 201.21.11.33 then when u make the dig query u do like this command___dig solaris.com

When u are about to test a reverse dns then you execute this command __dig -x 201.21.11.33

Other wise u can use

nslookup
>set type=any
>201.21.11.13
___________thus u will also get the result
