HELP totally screwed up my server !

Ok i did something really stupid. I made a users home directory deep inside of one of my webfolder's folders.

so its like
/mnt/webserver/somesite.com/images/
and images was made his home dir.

this totally screwed up everything, now any time i try and access any of my sites it says "403 forbidden" I have tried changing the owner and group to "nobody" and setting the index.php to "777" but it still says "permission denied"

any idea what happened ?

this is what i get in the log
Quote:
[Mon Mar 24 19:39:45 2008] [error] [client 192.168.1.1] (13)Permission denied: access to /index.php failed because search permissions are missing on a compone
nt of the path
thanks

Nevermind, i got it fixed.

a little "chmod 755 -R" on the root directory where my webserver was.

Oh well glad that is over, back to the problem that caused me to mess up everything
