hanging aft "Starting the libvirt-qmf daemon [ok]"

hi

i installed CentOS6.3 in text mode. it was running fine. i wanted to make it graphical & when i installed

#yum install xorg* -y

aft that when i am trying to reboot or performing init 5 it is hanging after:

Starting the libvirt-qmf daemon [ok]

if anyone can solve the problem..

can anyone tell me what is the procedure to convert text mode into graphical?

what are the main packages for graphical environment?

thanks

If it's a headless server it usually should stay in text mode?

Unless you do Message Queuing you wouldn't need the Qpid Management Framework (QMF) and therefore neither the libvirt-qmf service.

I think the easiest way would be to just 'yum -y groupinstall kde-desktop' or 'yum -y groupinstall gnome-desktop' as that should draw in all its dependencies.
