FTP path issue


I am running Centos 5 with VSFTP. I just moved servers but something has changed and I am not sure where to look first. Before when I ftp'd in with something like Dreamweaver I could just use /public_html/ to upload to that folder.....but now it doesn't like the leading slash...I have to use public_html..which normally wouldn't be an issue...but I have a program that uses a command that would be a pain to get an update out for...

Figured it out....I felt it was a setting in VSFtp....didn't have this line

chroot_local_user=YES
