fetchmail "run once"

Hello,

I'm working on a SuSE linux 9.1
I've installed a postfix server with amavis/spamassassin/...

I've some problems with fetchmail.
My fetchmailrc is in /etc/fetchmailrc (seems usual in SuSE linux I've read so far).
When I launch fetchmail with rcfetchmail start, fetchmail
reads mail from my providers and everything is alright.
But after that, newer again a connection is attempted.
To have a precise idea of the problem I've launched
fetchmail with fetchmail -v -v -f /etc/fetchmailrc
to see the detailed messages in /var/log/mail.

Reverse abstract of /var/log/mail

End of abstract

Why does fetchmail say "interval not reached" ? If it runs
all day, all day long I get this message.
In /etc/sysconfig/fetchmail poll delay is 600
In /etc/fetchmailrc I have set daemon 180

Thanks for any hint
