Which could be the best email servers?are there any providers who can help me through selecting the best one?

You need to define best, which depends on your personal needs. You also need to define what you mean by email server. Are you referring to a POP/IMAP server or an SMTP server?

One of the most popular SMTP servers is Postfix, that would most likely meet all of your needs, but without more detailed information it is impossible to say if it is the "best" one for you.

You could be a little more clear about your specifications and requirements..well you can always google or go for yahoo..they are good options... wikipedia may also help.. or try this out....http://linuxemailserver.info/ might work for you...

More suggestions are welcome.... Well I just checked out http://linuxemailserver.info/ and they seemed good.

Postfix is probably the most popular and widely used Linux mail server.

OpenExchange is another solution, providing a full blown exchange solution. (calendar, mail etc).
Postfix is only an MTA.

I use postfix myself, with courier-imap/pop3.
