firstly this is a public forum, don't expect people to email things to you privately. Do, however, expect to start receiving lots of spam if you're smearing your personal email address all over the web.

As for configuring DNS, read the the BIND howto, or buy a big book on BIND (or another DNS server, like maradns or djbdns). We can't tell you step by step how to use such a large and powerful piece of software.

I'd bet that you didn't. Linux - the kernel - is at around 2.6.34 or so, and the present rate of progress won't reach 5.0 until another twenty years or so. I'd bet this is some kind of distribution of Linux, so it might be helpful to actually tell which distro this is.

OTOH, if you do turn out to be a person from the future, we can do a deal whereby you provide me with results form sporting events, good-tielding financial products, etc, and I will be prepared to cut you in for a precentage. Very fair, considering the limited amount of research that you will have to do.

Ah, that is somewhat more appropriate for a site like this. If it is possible to use something simple to set up, like maradns, or do you have to use something more difficult to use like BIND? Whatever you decide, a search on 'tutorial' or 'how to' almost always yields a tutorial which will help you.

You still have chance to do the sensible thing and remove this, or get this removed, from your thread.
