dhcpd.conf file


on centos 6.3

where is the dhcpd.conf located at?

is it on /et/dhcpd.conf
or some where else...

if it is deleted then may u get from here

/usr/share/doc/dhcp*/dhcpd.conf.sample

By default when dhcp rpm is installed the dhcpd.conf file is installed in /etc/dhcp/ but that is basically an empty file and if you want to follow the sample dhcpd.conf file for the default available syntax then you can visit /usr/share/doc/dhcp-*/dhcpd.conf.sample as pointed by pantdk in his last post

after installing in rpm pkg of dhcpd the by default location in rhel 6 the dhcpd.conf file is in /etc/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf in rhel 5 /etc/dhcpd.conf the
