Debian keeps stalling

Hey everybody,

I've got a debian server installed but it keeps stalling. Sometimes it runs fine for a few hours, other moment's I have to reboot it every hour. My guess is that it's a faulty HDD, but I don't know for sure, is there any way to see this in a log file? I've searched my /var/log dir but i didn't know where to look for, maybe you guys have any suggestions?

Hi there! What exactly happens when it "stalls"? Freezes?
You can take a look at /var/log/faillog or /var/log/messages. Maybe you will find something useful there.

I'd say it's more likely heat (check the fans) or memory.
