Creating an vpn server and routing all trafic to remote vpn server
Hi There,
I am hanging since 2 days on a specific project:
I want to create openvpn server on my dedicated root, that routes all vpn traffic to an external vpn server.
diagramm:
clients --- dedicated server with vpn (root access) ---> external vpn Server (no access)
I am searchin since 2 days for any clue to set this up.
I Have it running, that the clients are connected to the 1st server (dedicated server), but when I start the client side on it, to connect to
the external vpn server, my whole internet on th ededicated server is gone, and i have to connect through the recovery console of my provider.
I think i have to start the server and a client on my dedicated at the same time?
can anybody can give me a push in to the right direction pls ?
bye
Jimmy
Here is a write up on how I am doing what (I think) you are trying to do. Let me know if it helps and feel free to ask questions if something is not clear.
but in that way, i can't make my plan because of the destination not clear and modified
I need something to read the real destination from net and replay and take the date and resed it to clients.
Hi, sorry for the late reply.
@taylorkh:
This is not a solution i am looking for.
What I want to do:
I want a dedicated root server with debian to redirect a vpn connection to an commercial vpn service. The dedicated root would be like an access node and redirect it to the other service. Clients would be windows, raspbian etc.
I have DNS server ( Debian ) I installed bind9 on it for clients
I have another one ( Centos ), I have control on it and I can install anything.
For special reasons, I must forward certain websites to centos server via DNS server that I configured to do that, and the centos server must redirect the request to the real destination and replay the clients
