Configuring Hummingbrid Xceed to access a Linux server

Hi,
I'm looking for some configuration settings for Hummingbirfd to access a Linux server. More to the point what port setting or configuration should I use to get this to work?

We have Hummingbrid X-Start for Win32
Ver. 7.1.0.0

Just starting Exceed makes your system capable of displaying X windows.

However you might need to open the firewall on your MS-Windows workstation to allow the ports in the 6000 range which is standard X-Windows port range.

If you just want to display X-Windows from the Linux system back to your MS-Windows station as opposed to running a full X-Windows desktop you can initiate the session with by doing ssh with X windows tunneling then you don't have to open any ports on the MS-Windows workstation.

These days I use Cygwin/X rather than Exceed so it is has been a while.

If you do a web search for xstart session you'll find multiple hits such as this one:

P.S. Since Exceed is a licensed software you can probably call Humminbird support and ask them how to do it.
