alias rm='rm -i'
alias cp='cp -i'
alias mv='mv -i'
alias ll='ls -alF'

# Source global definitions
if [ -f /etc/bashrc ]; then
        . /etc/bashrc
fi
One option would be to add an "ll" alias to the others that are already there, if nothing is in /etc.bashrc
The above is only a guess at what you would have in the "ll" alias.
