CentOS multi-homed: samba not work as PDC

Hi to everyone!
I upgrade a server to the last CentOS release. Samba version is "samba-3.0.33-3.29.el5_5". I've two ethernet controller on two different subnet (192.168.1.x e 192.168.2.x). Samba is working well, I browse my network and I can use my share but... It doesn't work as PDC on my net 192.168.1.x.

On my nmbd.log I've this error:
become_logon_server_fail: Failed to become a domain master for workgroup RETE on subnet 192.168.1.251. Couldn't register name RETE<1c>.
[2010/07/16 09:52:42, 0] nmbd/nmbd_namelistdb.c:standard_fail_register(304)
standard_fail_register: Failed to register/refresh name RETE<1c> on subnet 192.168.1.251
[2010/07/16 09:57:40, 0] nmbd/nmbd_logonnames.c:add_logon_names(163)
add_domain_logon_names:
Attempting to become logon server for workgroup RETE on subnet 192.168.1.251
[2010/07/16 09:57:40, 0] nmbd/nmbd_nameregister.c:register_name_response(73)
register_name_response: Answer name RETE<00> differs from question name RETE<1c>.
[2010/07/16 09:57:42, 0] nmbd/nmbd_logonnames.c:become_logon_server_fail(65)

I try to configure my WINS on myself and I add this line:
"RETE#1c" 0 192.168.1.251 192.168.2.100 e4R

Samba is configure like this:

[global]

workgroup = rete
hosts allow = 192.168.1. 192.168.2. 127.
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
max log size = 50
security = user
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd
passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *New*UNIX*password* %n\n
username map = /etc/samba/smbusers
socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192
interfaces = eth0, eth1
bind interfaces only =yes
remote announce = 192.168.1.255/24 192.168.2.255/24
local master = yes
os level = 65
domain master = yes
preferred master = yes
domain logons = yes
name resolve order = wins lmhosts bcast
wins support = yes
dns proxy = no
nt acl support = yes

Can anyone help me??? Please!
Ezio R.

"RETE#1c" 0 192.168.1.251 192.168.2.100 e4R

then it reports this line here---> register_name_response: Answer name RETE<00> differs from question name RETE<1c>.

admittedly a shot in the dark here
try changing this statement on WINS to:
"RETE#1c" 1 192.168.1.251 192.168.2.100 e4R
or try this
"RETE<1c>" 0 192.168.1.251 192.168.2.100 e4R (most likely)

It seems that there is possibly an error in the lookup due to syntax used on WINS
I hope this helps. Please share fix if this works
