Centos 7.2 unable-to get display on IBM IMM console (set specific video mode on bootup.)
Dear Friends,
We are facing an issue with our servers, that is we are un-able to get remote console on our server.(console is opening but nothing is being displayed.)
We are using IBM chassis, We've tried to updating to latest firmware available with IBM.
If i am not mistaken issue most likely is with video mode rendered.
from what I've understood IBM Chassis supports certain video mode only, So I wanted to try and configure my Centos to run on one of these given video modes (1024x786 60Hz, 70Hz, 75Hz) or (800x600 60Hz, 70Hz, 75Hz)
I tried searching over google for this but I no luck finding any good source so far.
Besides anyone else faced or facing similar issue may guide me with their progress on this.
Other Information which might be useful for debugging.
OS :- CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511
Kernel :- 3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64
VGA adapter :-
$ sudo lspci| grep VGA
07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Electronics Systems Ltd. MGA G200EV
In the mean while I will continue finding solution for this from Operating system end.
