Hello;

I am new to this forum. I have Red Hat Enterprise 3 at my new job. I tried to install it on a system already running Windows XP SP2 (dual booting). Red Hat did not detect the SATA drives. I then installed a regular ATA drive. It is currently installed on that drive but, it cannot detect the keyboard or mouse (USB keyboard and mouse). How can I remedy this problem and how can I install RHE3 on a SATA drive. I did not have this problem with FC6 but, we are only allowed to use approved software that includes OS's. Thank you.

You'll have to update RHEL 3 to update 3 or higher

Try using RHEL 3 update 8..this should solve ur problem..
