Hello,

Instead of explaining here again what has been written down 1000 times, have a look at this page. I'm sure it will clarify everything.

Kind regards,

Eric

It is LQ's primary goal to serve as a quality knowledge base. So even when faced with overly broad questions we should take the time to point out how to ask questions or where to find documentation. Therefore please make an effort and point to a specific page instead of saying "go Google for it".
TIA

Hi unSpawn,

Agreed, I'll try to refrain from pointing to Google although I don't see anything bad in it. About the 'how to ask questions', have a look at my sig, the link to the LQ page on the subject has been there for ages.

Kind regards,

Eric

Thanks. Problem is when someone reads "go Google for it" there'll be no obligation to return ("hey, I could have done that myself") and the question they asked here likely won't be answered here. Even worse, esp. with new users, they could mistakenly interpret such replies as "I don't know" or "I don't care" which doesn't help build our community like we would like to see. Members may start by asking questions and hopefully reach the point where they start answering other members questions: reciprocity.
