My poor buddy,

I am aware of your environment. I just asked you to try and check the same on VM. That's how you learn things and make them work. Else we might not be here on the forum.

Happy bonding !!!!!!!!!!

hi pantdk

can we check this in oracle virtual box?

we can test it on vms once again but this time on oracle virtual box.

let me know if you have already done this.

You may want to try below option at /etc/modprobe.conf
fail_over_mac=1
e.g.
options bond0 miimon=100 mode=active-backup fail_over_mac=1
Although it has the downside behavior, it may solve your problem. You may want to further consult with manual for your requirement.
