Authenticate with AD, have different home directories

Hello

So I've got a bit of a weird request. I've gotten my server set up and samba and sssd all set. I'm using AD to pull users and authentication so I don't have ot set up users locally.

Here's what I want to do

For 99% of users I want them to all have the same home directory. Basically the default for any AD users should be /home/default

However for 1% I want them to have their own home directories that are unique. SO like /home/user1, /home/user2 etc

So far I can get the 99% thing to work fine. But I"m wondering if there are parameters in sssd or smb that allow me to do the 1% part?

Thanks

Haven't actually done this but you could try giving that 1% an additional AD group membership and treat that group differently?
