Apache optimization for Xeon 2.8, 1GB RAM

Hi

I'm just going to finish configuring my server.
I wonder what can I change to optimize apache for my hardware needs (httpd.conf)

My specs (HP ProLiant 140 G2):

Intel Xeon 2.8 Mhz
1GB DDR2-PC3200
80GB HD

The server is issued to be a web hosting server with lots of user accounts who are using static & dynamic web pages.

Will appreciate any suggestions, including maybe hardware upgrade suggestions.

Thanks!

So, what are your HW needs? Wouldn't it usually be the other way around? Match HW to requirements? Is this a migration? If yes, any performance specs to share?

Is this a cheap hoster / reseller box or something "better"? I mean, if this is a cheap box, price / performance balance will be a trade-off and you will probably need to invest time in trimming off the fat of about everything so each process has minimal memory requirements, elif this is something "better" then how much better should it be? You could add another 1GB stick (you don't want to swap), fill the 2nd CPU slot (more perf always better), use separate disks for where you expect the most concurrent read/writes to come from, go for RAID1, etc, etc and then we're only talking HW.
