Hello!

I install apache 2.2.4 on fedora 6 and do ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-so, then
#make has following error:

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/home/ss/apache2.2/httpd-2.2.4/srclib/apr/libapr-1.la'
make[1]: *** [httpd] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ss/apache/httpd224'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

how do I fix this? thanks.

You do not have the library "libtools", necessary to compile Apache.
So just download and install it.

I have following from the beginning, still has error
