Angry Apache Basics Ubuntu LTS 14.04.1 LTS

I'd like to know the following:

How do I figure out where the default server in apache is configured?

How do I create a subdomain using sites-enabled?

How do I enabled PHP in Apache for that subdomain?

I've asked this on "askubuntu" http://askubuntu.com/questions/51656...ke-this/516581 but I hate their submission forms and their system never seems to email upon replies.

Thanks to all who stopped by to read. I've managed to get it working.

It all started working when I installed the Lamp stack manually piece by piece following this guide here "https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-linux-apache-mysql-php-lamp-stack-on-ubuntu"

And then when adding the virtualhosts you must use sudo for a2ensite, and service apache reload in order for it to work even though they don't give errors if you don't use sudo.

For future reference, it is always a good idea to indicate which distribution of Linux you are using. Many Linux distributions don't use sudo for one thing and some have a very simple method of installing LAMP with a single command whereas others are more complicated and need the individual applicaitons installed. The Apache configuration files are mostly in a sub-directory of the /etc directory while the files for the actual server are under the /var directory but have different sub-directories.

Anyhow, you got it working.
