Access Control List over Network File System not visible
Hey all. Got two systems, Effigy and Lancer. Lancer runs Debian, Effigy CRUX. Running getfacl on Lancer mounts shows the default ACL which has been set on all folders, but running it on Effigy mounts doesn't.
CRUX kernel (2.6.15) compiled with NFS and NFS_ACL as modules and loaded, ./configure had --enable-nfsv3 and --enable-nfsv4 as params on nfs-utils (1.0.12). SGI's ACL programs built from yhafri's repository. Effigy DOES have ACLs on the file system and a similar exports file to Lancer.
So, as usual, thanks to all the LQ.org members who posted here to give me advise. I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.16.16 (the same as the Debian system) from 2.6.15.11 and it works now. Wha'd-ya-know.
