Unhappy X11 - Port 6000 - Red Hat 8

Hi,

I've seen numerous posts on people asking how to stop X11 from listening on tcp 6000.

But it seems really obscure if at all possible on how to stop X11 from listening on 6000 when in this configuration: from init level 5 (boots into KDE for me) in Red Hat 8.

Does anybody know how to do this? I've beat my head on this one and can't seem to get it to work.

Thanks in advance for your help,

-Pete
