what patch do i need for cryptoloop ?

Hey guys.

Getting Kernel 2.6 to work with fedora proved more trouble than its worth.

i want to mount an excrypted loopback device.
i have kernel sources 2.4.22 and 2.4.24
which both have cryptoAPI but not cryptoloop.

ive searched around, and the whole thing is very confusing.
seems like everyone tells me to use a different patch...

some say you dont even need cryptoAPI
and some say you do !

im going to use aes encrypion.

has any1 else managed this ?

i have the apropriate losetup upgrade to make my
losetup crypto aware, all i need is this kernel source patch, and maybe
instructions on how to apply it correctly.

has any1 managed to sucessfully patch a 2.4.2x kernel ?
