What is ssh_host_key.pub?

If you look in the /etc/ssh/ directory of most (or all) linux/bsd ssh servers you see 3 public keys:
ssh_host_dsa_key.pub
ssh_host_key.pub
ssh_host_rsa_key.pub

I know that the dsa and rsa are for. But I don't understand what
ssh_host_key.pub is for. Obviously it's the public key for the private key ssh_host_key. I thought dsa and rsa were the only 2 "standards" that were
used today.

Thanks

I think that is the key used for protocol 1.
