ubuntu mint 12 pax grsecurity questions

Hi there
I googled for a howto on getting grsecurity working on mint 12(the ubuntu based mint) but didn't find much.
Does the ubuntu based mint(12) come with grsecurity already in the kernel or do you need to patch and re-compile?
If you do have to patch and re-compile plz could you point me to the correct doc
Thank you very much for your time
regards

Oh yeah i've just read that you do have to re-compile. I really will try and read about a problem before posting here first, in future!
