SuSE Firewalls

Hi all, after installing SuSE 8.0 I found how to start the Firewall and I was then supprised to see the following when I shutdown and rebooted.

Shutting down the firewall (and disabling routing) done
Shutting down pwesonal-firewall [not active] unused

When I boot up I get the following messages. (in order)

Starting firewall initialisation (phase 1 of 3) done
Starting personal-firewall (initial) [not active] unused

Starting firewall initialisation (phase 2 of 3) done
Starting personal-firewall (final) [not active] unused

Starting firewall initialisation (phase 3 of 3) done

What is the difference between the Firewall which I've started and the personal-firewall which is currently [not active] and are there advantages of having both running? If so how do I activate the personal-firewall?

Thanks in advance

it's one or the other, it won't let you have both.(afaik)
there's the preconfigured firewall that is turned on with one click during network setup, it's reasonably secure out of the box. then there is the other which will allow you to configure every little detail. use yast2 to configure it.

Cool, I'll have a look at configuring the personal firewall later, first I'll see how this is. Thanks for your help.
