Suggestions on programs to close ports

What is a good program to use on MDK which will allow me to see my open ports and close them besides Bastille?

ports & stuff
netstat to see your ports and iptables to set up blocking rules.

nmap - port scanner

Also, lookup inetd or xinetd to disable common services like telnet.

and optionally surf to http://grc.com/ and use sheild's up
