Depends on what patches you've installed. Not all of them have specific options in menuconfig to enable them, some are just applied automatically once you've run POM and recompiled.

With regards to compiling the kernel, if you've never done this before then I highly recommend you follow the instructions very carefully. I also hope this is on a non-production system as it may become unbootable or unstable if the kernel build/install is borked.

I have seen some are already installed.Anyway it's not that i never compiled the kernel it's i never booted one i made ... i' will be carefull and cheers !
