Password plausibility test

I'm trying to understand how the "password plausibility" checking is done on my suse9 system.
Is there a control file and/or dictionary file I can view?

Thanks,
Paleal

To get a listing of everything on the box having to do with passwords, open a console and give the command 'apropos password'.

You will find pam_pwcheck informative (see the man pages). pam_pwcheck works with cracklib to check the strength of passwords (see the cracklib README).
