i had a basic idea of the snort and how to work with it in several modes like packet sniffer , packet logger and also NIDS mode .
so iam looking for a a good resource some type of documentations that will help me to be professional in SNORT and i will be so thankful , and any help will be highly appreciated
but if you recommend a book for that you you have tried and find it good i have now 3 books snort intrusion detection and prevention toolkit , snort 2 , snort cook book which one of these you find it useful for snorting
