Need Help: new to stunnel

I'm new to stunnel.
Currently I am trying to use stunnel to launch a socket program (self-made). I tried configure stunnel.conf and then command... But nothing seems working.
Would someone tell me the correct procedure to make stunnel useful on certain program?

I have not done this myself, but have been saving it for a weekend I am not busy. This page looks to have alot of examples of using stunnel as a wrapper. http://www.stanton.dtcc.edu/stanton/cs/admin/notes/ssl/
