Logging program exec

Hi, just thought i'd ask if anyone knows i nice way to log what programs a user exec's.
Of course i could just log things like ~/.bash_history, but not exactly an ideal solution. Especially if the user run's another shell or uses kdeinit for all execution.

I have not really researched it yet, so much code, so little time. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

ideally stdout via syslog or snmp would be perfect(less work for me), but anything is better then nothing.

Thanks

Hello,

If you're very lazy or want an immediate temporary solution, you can do a cron job which does something like: ps- U user_I_wanna_log
