Linux alternative to 'Hide IP' ..something easy...is this possible?

Im using a Linux machine (Xandros 3.0 / Firefox browser). It does not have windows on it at all. I would like more security on my computer, including being able to hide my IP address or have it change randomly.

We are looking for a download of some sort, like the Windows 'Hide IP' download.

Any suggestions?

TIA

You can't just have your WAN IP change unless your ISP will let you and I doubt that. You can however use anonymouse proxy servers, maybe try using TOR or something like that to be more anonymous.

you might want to use some kind of anonymizer, tor i think lets you do that but i haven't tested it.
