KGPG won't start?

Hello,
I made my key pair using SUSE 9.2's KGPG. Now, when I try to open the KGPG application, it won't start. The GPG icon just jumps up and down next to my cursor and on the taskbar the GPG slot opens for a while with the hourglass on it, only to disappear after a while. It won't start via the console, either. Other user accounts on the same system don't have the same problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

For others to know: what was the problem?

Well, the problem was that GPG was already running. I got to it by clicking it's icon next to the clock on the left side of the taskbar.

hehe. Fair enough. I can't count the number of times I've been logged into gaim multiple times from the same computer.
