i'm trying to setup ipforwarding with iptables.. but the command isn't found

bash: iptables: command not found

i know it's there.. i can even go to /sbin and see that it's there.. along with iptables-restore and iptables-save.. what gives?

//fresh install of RedHat 9 with updates.
