ICAP solutions


I am working on a application integration using ICAP. How the application works is by sending the files to a ICAP server and should receive a response back from the ICAP on the result of the files scanned. I can see a lot of ways to do this but it appears to be integrated to a web proxy and acts inline via URL redirection but no stand alone.

Does anyone know if there is an opensource linux based solution for this?

It looks like there are a few open sourced applications out there, but they seem to be very specialized to specific tasks such as spam filtering:
