Question How to configure Host-to-Host IPSec (Free SWAN)


Hi ,

can anyone please let me know how i should configure Host-to-Host IPSec implementation.


I have two systems with ip address 10.8.1.241 and 10.8.1.242 i want to implement ipsec between them. I have compile and put all the packages in place but need some help to configure the ipsec.conf and ipsec.secrets for completing my assignment..

Hope thers someone to help me.. Thanxs for the same in advance.

Wrt homework there's too many people not putting in any effort showing what they did, where they failed, how they tried to diagnose the problem and fix it instead relying on LQ members to do their homework for them.
If this doesn't apply to your case then please post a more detailed account of what SW you're using, how you configured it, where the problem is (if you know/guess) and post the relevant details (configs, logs, errors, any diagnostics) people need to help you.

can you tell me how do you install ipsec packages and what is its name?
