(crossposting this here since it's a NAT/Firewall specific ting)
I'm looking for a small-footprint linux distro to run a few NAT/Firewall boxen with ADSL.
I know I could use redhat/slack/etc but I'm looking for something really KISS (ala the old LRP).
Anyone have some good suggestions? I intend to set these things up and forget 'em using old hardware. Ideally I could set the thing up and boot from CDROM/Floppy and forget them.

Thanks in advance.
Try Freesco, floppy or hdd based installation. Works like a charm from a floppy. Really simple to configure and maintain. http://www.freesco.org
I strongly suggest you read about the security alert before making any decisions though.
I would suggest taking a look at Clarkconnect. It's a little more than just a simple Firewall/Nat Distro. Once installed you can easily and securely administer your box from any web browser. You can check out their web page at http://www.clarkconnect.org/
