there are several to choose from, pro-ftpd and wu-ftp being to very popular choice. If you care about security then as the post above me says, "

The first two are simple to install and configure, just grab the packages, install and work the readme's or man them. Vsftp is a little more complicated but once you get it, it will take you all of 15 minutes to get one up and running.
