Disable an account for 45 minutes
Hello!
I would like to somehow configure things so that when a user fails to provide the correct password after 5 attempts, that user account is locked for 45 minutes.
In the /etc/pam.d/passwd file I have this line:
account required /lib/security/pam_tally.so deny=5 no_magic_root reset
The /etc/pam.d/passwd file is configured to lock that person out of his/her account if he/she fails to provide the correct password after 5 times.
Is there currently a way to unlock the account after a configurable number of minutes? What would the correct entry look like to enable this?
