Exclamation Detect IP with htaccess?

Hi,

How can I make a script run and know the ip of the intruder when he tries to login via FTP to my site?

This is VERY urgent.

Regards,

htaccess files don't really have anything to do with ftp. What ftp server are you using?

Look in the FTP log to see where he/she connected from?

The specifics of this too will depend on what ftpd you're using...

where are they???

Hi,

I'm hosted in a provider, so I can't control things like I want to - some.
I went to the log directory, and found it empty! is there any switch I need to see them, or they don't exist? I use CuteFTP ( to see the .htaccess I remember I had to place a switch somewhere...)

regards,

Oh ...

On a hosting provider's servers they usually give you a log for your FTP service, though I have no idea which service you use, so YMMV.

Contact the support people to get you the log, and change the passwords on the FTP account in the mean time.
