If I am not mistaken...both of those antivirus apps need to be set up in a mail server enviroment...or mail relay....thus it checks your mail and certify's it this way.Like setting up sendmail and then installing clam/antiviri would install the needed extensions.
Go to Tools and you should have have Spam Wizard and anti-virus wizard at the bottom. I had manually setup spamassassin filters before and changed them recently. The anti-virus does not seem to work and have been searching for answers. Have both clamav and f-prot installed. The spamassassin works.
ironwalker I'm not trying to set up any mail server or any thing fancy like that. I just want to make filters for my antivirus in Kmail like I did for Spamassasian.
TigerOC I'm using KDE 3.2, it doesn't have that wizard that you speak of. I found a help file on the KDE web site on how to set up filters for spamassasian into Kmail. I was just looking for a way to do the same with clamav.
