Exclamation Cant su to other users and root


Hello Everyone,

i tried Restrict su to sysadmin group to secure linux in following link

after that i am not able to su to other accounts and root...

did you do this on RHEL 5 or some other Distro
that link is for rhel5.4

If nothing better is found and you have physical access and are prepared to reboot that may be the way in.

Hello,

i got sorted it out...

chmod 4755 /bin/su

did the trick ...

need to setuid....
